Nikwax Rug Proof adds Hard-wearing Water Repellency (DWR) whilst maintaining breathability. It is fast and straightforward to apply in the washing machine, and its DWR develops on air drying. Washing machine directions: For best results always clean the rug first with Nikwax Rug Cleanse. No need to dry item(s) before waterproofing. It is vital that rugs are washed and rinsed thoroughly. Shake well before use. Follow care label instructions. With practical design details, remove all detergent build-up from the detergent dispenser. Place the clean rug in the washing machine. Use 500 ml for 1 rug. Treat 1 rug per load. Run 30°C natural cotton cycle. With practical design details, air dry or tumble dry on a low setting if the care label allows.
